Our story is woven into the very fabric of our community. When I was just four years old, my family and I lived in a shelter. I remember watching the seasons change and waiting for the day we could move into our own home. During that time, there was a simple joy that cut through the uncertainty: the donation bags that would arrive filled with toys and stuffed animals.

One of those donations brought me my very own Littlefoot, the tiny dinosaur from my favorite movie, The Land Before Time. He was half my size, and he quickly became my favorite. Over 34 years later, that memory is as vivid as ever. It taught me that a simple act of kindness can make a world of difference.
